· Design and execute customer test plans and methodologies; find and reproduce issues and bugs. Analyze computer performance. Tests cover the spectrum from out-of-box experience, end-user usability, full functionality, compatibility with multiple operating systems and additional software and hardware, to customer specified environments, ad-hoc investigative testing and analysis, and regression testing.
· Set up hardware and software projects required for in-house beta testing and third party contract testing. Install and configure personal computers and servers with various releases of operating systems, software applications, and USB, serial, and parallel peripherals, PC cards, docking stations, controller cards, etc.
